Keri Forsythe-Stephens

Chief Editor

Since 2016, veteran healthcare technology management journalist Keri Forsythe-Stephens has steered the editorial of 24×7 Magazine. Prior to joining 24×7 Magazine as chief editor, Forsythe-Stephens served as managing editor of two industry publications, and led the former magazine to several American Society of Business Publication Editors awards. She also won the top feature writing award in the nation for an article she wrote about detecting breast cancer in men. A graduate in communications from Messiah College, Forsythe-Stephens is committed to ensuring that 24×7 Magazine remains the No.1 publication in the HTM sector—as it has for the past 21 years.

“24×7 Magazine is the undisputed industry leader,” says Forsythe-Stephens. “Not only do we offer biomeds and clinical engineers groundbreaking product and company news, advice from industry leaders, and in-depth feature articles, 24×7 Magazine hosts webinars with top speakers in the HTM field.”

Much of 24×7 Magazine’s success is attributable to the magazine’s stellar advisory board, Forsythe-Stephens says. “Our board encompasses the best and the brightest in the healthcare technology management field,” she adds. “In addition to helping 24×7 Magazine plan its editorial calendar, board members regularly contribute bylined articles, serve as interview subjects, and fact-check content for us.” Such collaboration ensures 24×7 Magazine stays abreast of all the changes affecting the HTM industry.

“Keeping HTM professionals in-the-know is something 24×7 Magazine has done well for more than two decades,” Forsythe-Stephens says, “and it’s something we’ll continue doing in the coming years.” Key topics covered in 2017 included Joint Commission regulatory updates, education, battery management, HTM/IT integration, cybersecurity, and 24×7 Magazine’s annual Salary Survey—and 2018 promises to bring even more exciting editorial to its valued audience.

“Our readers are at the forefront of patient care—purchasing and maintaining equipment that has life-saving implications,” Forsythe-Stephens says, “and 24×7 Magazine will continue to support the clinical engineering community by providing fresh and cutting-edge editorial
